2021 – February. Fundamental work: Academician R. Metreveli (Ed.), "History of the Caucasus" (Essays), Vol. I-II, publishing house "Artanuji", publication in progress. Among the authors are the staff members of the center: G. Cheishvili, O. Dzhanelidze, A. Daushvili.

2020 – December. The new issue of the periodic scientific journal of the centre, “Analebi” #16, was published.

2020 – January. The monograph “ Collective Farms in Georgia” by professor A. Daushvili, the deputy head of the center’s board of administration, was published. Publishing house “Mtsignobari”, 390 pp.

2020 –January. The publishing house “Palitra L” published “The History of Georgia” in IV volumes, revised version. Editor in chief Acad. R. Metreveli. The author-editors of the third and fourth volumes are staff members of the center: G. Otkhmezuri, A. Daushvili.

2019 – December. The issue of the periodic scientific journal of the center, “Analebi” #15, publishing house “Universali”, was published.

2019 – September-October. The publishing house “Palitra L” published “The History of Georgia”, I and II volumes. The author-editors of the volumes are staff members of the center: Academician D. Muskhelishvili, G. Otkhmezuri.

On November 23-26, 2018, an International Conference - "Education – Whose Responsibility?" was held with participation of German, Austrian and Georgian social scientists   in Vienna, Austria.      The Vice Chairman of the Scientific Center, Professor  A. Daushvili   delivered a paper: "Education in Georgia: From Totalitarianism to Democracy".

 On November 13, 2018 the presentation of the recently published books of Professor Otar Janelidze, the researcher at the Scientific Centre was held at the  Telavi State University. Representatives of Telavi’s scientific society participated in the event. The Vice Chairman of the Scientific Center, Prof. A. Daushvili   delivered a speech. 

On October 19, 2018  the jubilee session dedicated to the 90th  anniversary of the birth of academician David Muskhelishvili, the real member of the Georgian National Academy of  Sciences, A Chairman of  the Scientific Center   for the Study  and Propaganda of History, Ethnology and Religion,  was held at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. Speeches were delivered by Metropolitan of Chiatura and Sachkhere Daniel (Datuashvili),  Acad. R. Metreveli, Acad. N. Khazaradze, Acad. Z. Aleksidze, Prof. G. Grigolia, Doctor M. Khidasheli, Prof. V. Vashakidze, Prof. Z Papaskiri, Prof. A. Daushvili.

On September 26-29,  2018 the staff of the Scientific Center took active part in the work of the II International Kartvelological Congress, dedicated to the 100th  anniversary of the establishment of the Tbilisi State University.Papers were delivered by  Acad. David Muskhelishvili, Acad. Nana Khazaradze, Corresponding Member of  GNAS L. Melikishvili, Prof. Aleksandre Daushvili.

On May 25-26,  2018   The director of the   Institute of History and Ethnology  G.Cheishvili  and the Vice Chairman of the Scientific Center, Professor  A. Daushvili  participated    at the International Symposium in Yerevan, dedicated to the 100th  anniversary of the establishment of the   first Republic of Armenia. Al. Daushvili delivered a paper in Georgian: "Independence of Transcaucasian Countries and the Russian Bolshevik Press."

 On May 14, 2018 the Georgian National Academy of Sciences hosted the presentation of the collective monograph, financed by the Rustaveli National  Science Foundation:    "The traditional agriculture   and the t perspectives for the  development of the Georgian village (historical-ethnological analysis of the Kakheti region)". Acad. R. Metreveli, Acad. N. Khazaradze, Acad. A. Arabuli, Corresponding Member of  GNAS L. Melikishvili,   representatives of the Rustaveli National Scientific Foundation and the Historical Society    attended the presentation.

The authors of the monographs - M. Burduli, A. Daushvili, L. Mgebrishvili and N. Jalabadze presented the main results of the research and held a discussion.

On February 13, 2018 the Scientific Center actively participated in the International Conference organized by the International Center for the Christian Studies, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the restoration of the autocephaly of the Georgian Church. The participants of the   conference were: Acad. D. Muskhelishvili, Prof. A. Daushvili, Prof. M. Burduli, Dr. L. Mgebrishvili and others. Prof. A. Daushvili delivered a paper -  "The Good Shepherd" and the nagging parish” .

On December 17, 2017 at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences   The Scientific Center  together with the  International Scientific  Research Institute of the Peoples of the Caucasus, has arranged a presentation of the    Project funded by Rustaveli National Science Foundation: ” The perspectives for the development of   Georgian-Ossetian Relations in Kazbegi District". Two monographs   were discussed: L.Janiashvili's book:”The  issue of Ossetians in Kazbegi region” and the book under the authorship of N.Jalabadze:” The Ossetians of Kazbegi District   in the context of Georgian-Ossetian relations”. The presentation was attended by   Acad. R. Metreveli, Acad, N. Khazaradze, Corresponding Member of  GNAS L. Melikishvili,   representatives of the Rustaveli Scientific Foundation and the Historical Society.     

2017 June – Volume 13   "Annals” – a periodic journal   of the scientific center was prepared; it is being edited and will be issued at the end of September.

2017 April 24–Scientific conference envisaged by the grant project   of the Shota Rustaveli    National Science Foundation –” Traditional   Agriculture  and Prospects for the Development of the Georgian Village (Historical - Ethnographic  Study of  Kakheti Region). Reports were delivered by Prof. M. Burduli, Prof.Al. Daushvili, Doctors: N. Jalabadze and L. Mghebrishvili.

2017 April. Scientific trip to Lagodekhi district (20.03. 2017 - 13.04. 2017) within the frames of the project financed by the Rustaveli Science Foundation.  Participants: principal investigator   M. Burduli, members– A. Daushvili, L. Mghebrishvili, N. Jalabadze. Field-ethnographic material was collected and is kept at the archive of the Scientific Center. The work on the scientific project is being carried on.

2017  February. Scientific trip to Kvareli region (13.02.2017 - 9. 03. 2017) within the frames of the project financed by the Rustaveli Science Foundation.  Participants: principal investigator   M. Burduli, members– A. Daushvili, L. Mghebrishvili, N. Jalabadze. Field-ethnographic material was collected and is kept at the archive of the Scientific Center. The work on the scientific project is being carried on.

2016 November 14. An enlarged summarizing session of the History, Archeology and Ethnology commission was held at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences;    a report on the activities of the Scientific Center for the Study and Propaganda of the History, Ethnology and Religion during 10 years was submitted. Speeches were   delivered by   Acad. D. Muskhelishvili, Acad. N. Khazaradze, Cor. member of Acad.  L. Melikishvili, Prof. A. Daushvili and others. The Research Center's work was assessed positively.

 2016 October 4. The presentation of a solid monograph in Georgian under the authorship of   the Scientific Centre staff - “The Georgians”, issued by the publishing house “Palitra L” was held at the Georgian writers' House.     The event was attended by the  representatives of the Historical Society and  student youth. Speech was delivered by   Akad D. Muskhelishvili, Acad. N. Khazaradze, Acad. R. Metreveli, Cor.member of Acad. L. Melikishvili, Prof. Al. Daushvili, Dr. L. Beriashvili.

2016  September. The publishing house "Palitra L “ has published  a solid monograph in Georgian – “The Georgians” prepared by the  Scientific Centre staff (Chief editors L. Melikishvili and L. Beriashvili). 

2016  August. Scientific trip to Sighnaghi district (17. 07 2016-5., 09. 20160) within the frames of the project financed by the Rustaveli Science Foundation.  Participants: principal investigator   M. Burduli, members– A. Daushvili, L. Mghebrishvili, N. Jalabadze. Field-ethnographic material was collected and is kept at the archive of the Scientific Center. The work on the scientific project is being carried on.

 2016  July. The project "The history of the Caucasus" was prepared in the Scientific Center. The project envisages preparation of the book on socio-political and cultural development of the peoples of the Caucasus   from ancient times to the present. Project personnel: Acad. R. Metreveli, Acad. G. Aleksidze, professors: V. Guruli, O. Jordania, E. Kvitsiani, A. Daushvili, V. Vashakidze, G. Cheishvili.  Academic Council of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences approved the project and adopted a special resolution. The project will be implemented in 2017-2018.

2016  February.  Scientific trip to   Telavi district (1.02 2016. - 14. 03. 7.04. 2016) within the frames of the project financed by the Rustaveli Science Foundation.  Participants: principal investigator   M. Burduli, members– A. Daushvili, L. Mghebrishvili, N. Jalabadze. Field-ethnographic material was collected and is kept at the archive of the Scientific Center. The work on the scientific project is being carried on.

2016. March – Publishing House “Universali” published within the frames of the “Magticom” grant a work -“ Stages and Peculiarities of the Consolidation of the Georgian Nation from the Time Immemorial till Today” ( the authors: Academician Davit Muskhelishvili, Dr. Giorgi Cheishvili, Professor Alexandre Daushvili). The work contains 703 pages.

Was also published issue N12 of the Journal “Analebi.”

The Scientific Centre - Academician D. Muskhelishvili, Giorgi Cheishvili and Alexandre Daushvili won the grant of the “Magticom” for the topic “ Stages of consolidation of the Georgian Nation and its Peculiarities from the Ancient Times to the Present Days.”

The ethnographic group of the centre ( Professor M. Burduli, Professor A. Daushvili, Doctors N. Jalabadze and L. Mghebrishvili won the grant of Sh. Rustaveli National Scinetific Foundation for the topic “ Traditional Farming Culture of the Georgian Village and the Prospects of its Development ( hostorical-ethnological research of the Kakheti region);

Fundamental work – The Georgians written in the Russian language prepared by the Scintific Centre ( The work was prepared by the large group of historians and ethnologists; among them: Academician D. Muskhelishvili, Academician T. Gamkhrelidze, Academician member –correspondent - L. Melikishvili, Professors: M. Natmeladze, V.Itonishvili, Al. Daushvili,T. Tsagareishvili and others). The work was publsihed by the Publishing House of the Academy of Sciences of Russia “Nauka”. The editors of the book are: Professor Liana Beriashvili, Academician Liana Melikishvili and Professor Ludmila Solovieva. The work was prepared on the basis of cooperation with the Academician Miklukho Maklai Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology ( Director - Academician V. Tishkov). In the work - Georgian ethnic and political history, literature, every day life, written language, material life, all the trends of agriculture and farming, artizanship and small manufacture, family and family life, historical and ethnological relations of the family, religious beliefs of the Georgians and other main trends, as well as peculiarities of the spiritual culture, folklore, choreography, traditional medicine,Georgian literature, fine arts, theatre, cinematography and other actual problems are reflected in the work.

cientific trip to the Akhmeta District had place in July-August ( in the trip participated: Professors- M. Burduli, L. Mghebrishvili, N. Jalabadze, A.Daushvili). They studied the traditional farming life of the villages of the District and the prospects of its development.

The materials of the International Scientific Simposium - “ Return to Spirituality” was published in the English language in the America by the Publishing House “Nova.” The editor of the book is Academician D. Muskhelishvili; the book contains the reports of Academician D. Muskhelishvili, Professor A. Daushvili, Professor T. Ivelishvili, Doctor G.Cheishvili and others.

The book ~The Georgian-Russian War of August of 2008” was published in America by the Publishing House “Nova”; The editor of the book is Professor Al. Daushvili.

n 2015 was published the 11th issue of “Analebi” - Journal of the Association of Historians

On December 22 of 2015 with the help of the Commission was organized the scientific Conference of Ethnologists dedicated to the actual problems of Monastery life, its history and ethnology. The reports were made by Professor M. Burduli, Professor N. Ghambashidze, Professor N. Azikuri, and Professor A. Daushvili.

On November 21-22 of the year of 2015 in Germany near Munich in the Monastery of Shaiern was held Georgian –German Conference on the topic: “ Christianity and European Civilization”. At the Conference by the Vice-Chairman of the Centre - Professor Al. Daushvili was delivered a report – “ Estrangement from God is the way to Degradation. “

On January 28-29 together with the International Centre for Chirstian Studies the Georgian –German scientific workshop on the “ Biblical Values and Modern Times” was held. Authorities of the Academy of Sciences of Georgia, professors from Germany, Academician D. Muskhelishvili, Professor A. Daushvili. Professor M. Burduli participated in the seminar.

On December 8 was held the Conference dedicated to the problems of Medieval Century History of Georgia. 13 reports were made. ( The speech was made by Aacademician D. Muskhelishvili, Academician member correspondent- L. Melikishvili, Dr. N.Mindadze, Professor K. Machabeli, Dr. G. Chikovani and others).

The stuff of the scientific centre took an active part together with the International Centre for Christian Studies in preparation and holding of the International Conference in May of 2014 on the topic of “Tradition of Worshiping Our Lady in the Orthodox Church.” (The reports were made by: Academician D. Muskhelishvili, Professor A. Daushvili, Professor M. Burduli, Dr. M. Mghebrishvili).

In summer of 2014 The scientific Conference “The Russian-Georgian War of August of 2008”( Historical Lessons), was held in the Centre. (The reports were made by Professor U.Bluashvili, Professor A. Daushvili, Professor D. Jojua, General G. Kharkharashvili). Materials of the Conference were published. The negotiations with the American Publishing House “Nova” on publishing the English version of the materials in America are in progress.

In New York Publishing House “Nova” the work “Certain Aspects of Georgian-Russian Relations in Modern Historiography” - was published with the active participation of the members of the organization ( Academician D. Muskhelishvili, M. Samsonadze,M. Natmeladze, N. Lomouri, O.Janelidze and others).

The historical collection of works “Analebi” N10 was prepared and published.

During the year one volume book of the “Georgian History” was published twice (Publishing Hosue “Gumbati”).

On December 23 presentation of the material of the book written by Nikolas Vitsen about Georgia - “North and East Tartareti” was held (Translators Archil and Nino Javakhadzes). Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Mr. Hans Holbakh, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science – Giorgi Shervashidze, Vice-President of Academy of Sciences – T. Naneishvili, members of the scientific society were present at the presentation.

On December 6 together with the International Center for Christian Studies a scientific Conference dedicated to the 150 anniversary of Eqvtime Takhaishvili was held- 5 reports were delivered.

Throughout the year one - volume edition of “History of Georgia” was published twice, Publishing House “Gumbati”;

September. Was published the journal of the scientific centre “Analebi” N9;

The collection of works “Some Problems of the Georgian-Russian Relations in the Modern Historiography” was translated into the English language, edited and sent to the USA Publishing House “Nova Publisher”. The Collection of works was published in Tbilisi, in 2010. 6. Work on the capital research “Georgians” ( the work was prepared by the 40 members od the stuff of the centre) was completed.

May 1, 2013-The initiative group of Georgian historians (academicians D. Muskhelishvili, N. Khazaradze, Ts/K L. Melikishvili, Professors M. Samsonadze, A. Daushvili, L. Janiashvili) met the deputy minister of education and science of Georgia Mr. D. Zurabashvili. The conversation concerned crucial issues of development of historic sciences in Georgia.

April 10, 2013- Academician D. Muskhelishvili, the head of scientific centre, sent a business letter to the prime-minister of Georgia, Bidzina Ivanishvili, relating the rising tendency of falsification of Georgian history abroad and suggested the plan of enforceable measures.

January 11, 2013-Memorandum of Georgian historians to Minister of education and science of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili about alteration of existing situation in historical science. Memorandum is signed by academician M. Lortkiphanidze, D. Muskhelishvili, N. Khazaradze, O. japharidze, Ts/K. L. Melikishvili; professors V. Itonishvili, A. Dauashili, M. Samsonadze and others (36 scientists)

December 14-15, 2012-Collaborators of scientific centre, academician D. Muskhelishvili, professors A. Daushvili, V. Itonishvili, T. Ivelashvili, G. cheishvili delivered speeches on international symposium: “Return to spirituality”(Tbilisi, 2012) dedicated to 35th anniversary of enthronization and 85th birthday of Catholicos-patriarch of all Georgia, his holiness and beatitude Ilia II.

Novermber 21, 2012-Meeting of Georgian social scientists (historians, demographs, politiologists, linguists, philosophers, philologists,) in Georgian academy of science about poor condition of social sciences in Georgia and ways of their improvement. The meeting approved the joint letter that was sent to the chair of commission of education science and culture of Parliament of Georgia academician Vano Kiguradze. The signatories are academician D. Muskhelishvili, prof. A. Sulaberidze, M. Matsaberidze, I. Imedadze, G. Gogiashvili, M.Samsonadze, A. Daushvili and others.

December 23, 2011 - Jubilee meeting dedicated to 5th anniversary since the establishment of the Scientific Centre of Historic, Ethnological, Religious Studies and Propaganda. Report was presented by the Chair of the Scientific Centre - acad. David Muskhelishvili. Greeting words were pronounced by Metropolitan Daniel, acad. R. Metreveli, Head of International Research Institute of Caucasian People - Lia Melikishvili, Chair of Ekvtime Takaishvili Historian Society of Georgia - Nana Khazaradze and others. Salutatory dispatches were received from the U.S, Sweden, Moscow and Nikozi. The arrangement was reviewed by the Television of Patriarchate; this event was commented by mass media.

November 25, 2011 - Review of the collections: "Some Issues of Georgian History in Armenian Historiography" (2009), "Some Issues of History of Ossetians of Shida Kartli" and "Some Issues of Georgian History in Russian Historiography" (2010). The collections are written by the Scientific Centre against falsifiers of Georgian History. The review of the above-mentioned collections was arranged by Ilia Chavchavadze Bibliophiles' Association of Georgia.

November, 2011 - Research of the workers of the Scientific Center "Georgian History in Toponymy" (1st book, 2nd book) was given a premium of Niko Berdzenishvili of Georgian Scientific National Academy. Authors: acad. David Muskhelishvili, prof. Devi Berdzenishvili (after his death), prof. Mzia Surguladze, Giorgi Cheishvili and Marine Kandelaki.

August, 2011 - Doctor of History Faculty of Pennsylvania University – Clar Pog Kiezer worked on probation (with prof. Alexander Daushvili) in the Scientific Centre.

April 27, 2011 - Jubilee meeting dedicated to a distinguished Georgian historian - prof. Nana Khazaradze. Reporters: acad. Mariam Lortkipanidze, acad. David Muskhelishvili, prof. Mikheil Samsonadze and others.

April 20, 2011 – Contract was drawn up with the leadership of “Publishing House Palitra L” about publishing of the scientific work “Georgian History” (4 volumes). Editor of the book is acad. February 23, 2011 – Scientific conference organized in cooperation with International Research Institute of Caucasian People and Historic, Archeological and Ethnological Committee of Georgian Scientific National Academy. The theme of the conference: “Multi Ethnical Lower Kartli and Social Safety – History and Contemporary”. Photo exhibition was held regarding the above-mentioned issue. March 31,2010 – “Demonstration Day”. Ethnical Aspects of Social Safety in Multiethnic Society (Ethnic Minority according to the Example of Lower Kartli) – Reporter – Acad. Lia Melikishvili (Scientific National Academy of Georgia).

January 27,2010 – Jubilee meeting dedicated to the 80th birth anniversary of a distinguished Georgian historian – Makvala Natmeladze. The heroine of the anniversary was congratulated by Acad. M. Lortkipanidze, Acad. D. Muskhelishvili, Prof. N. Khazaradze, Prof. T. Papuashvili, Prof. E. Kupatadze, Prof. M. Samsonadze and others.

December 14,2009 – Scientific session dedicated to the 75th birth anniversary of Devi Berdzenishvili (Doctor of Historical Sciences) and presentation of his last book – “Following the Path of Andrew the First Called”. 2 reports and 7 commemorations were presented.

September 30,2009 – Scientific session dedicated to the 80th birth anniversary of Prof. Levan Toidze. 8 reports were read (papers have been published).

 

March 25,2009 – Scientific session dedicated to the 90th anniversary of beginning of working of  the Georgian Constituent Assembly (the joint event of Historical, Archaeological and Ethnologic Committee of Scientific National Academy of Georgia, Institute of Political Science and Scientific Centre for Historic, Ethnologic, Religious Studies and Propaganda) – 4 reports were read (papers have been published). April 30, 2009 – Discussion: “Bilateral Negative Stereotype – Reason of Xenophobia, i.e. Crisis of State Ethics” (reporter: member-correspondent of National Scientific Academy of Georgia – Lia Melikishvili).

April 8, 2009 – Evaluation and discussion, so called “demonstrational day” of the work “Georgian History in Toponymy” (the Grant of the Rustaveli Fund) (supervisor: Acad. D. Muskhelishvili) (seven reporters participated in the discussion).

March 25, 2009 – Scientific Session dedicated to 90th anniversary since the beginning of the work of the Georgian Constituent Assembly (co-participants: Commission of History, Archeology and Ethnology of Scientific Academy of Georgia, Institute of Politology) (four persons represented their reports).

December 30, 2008 – Scientific Group (Inform Group), which explores nonscientific information about the Georgian history and responds to it timely, was founded by the Scientific Centre.

December 25, 2008 – Presentation of the book – “Peculiarities of Establishment and Consolidation of the Totalitarian Regime in Georgia” (authors: M. Natmeladze, A. Daushvili, M. Japaridze, K. Tsenguashvili).

October 17, 2008 – Scientific Jubilee Session dedicated to 80th birth-day of Academician David Mukhelishvili (two reports were represented, ten persons pronounced their recollection orations).

June 25, 2008 – Presentation and discussion of the Monograph – “Traditional Musical Instruments and Ethnocultural Relations between Georgia and the North Caucasus” (four reports were represented).

May 28, 2008 – Scientific Session dedicated to 90th anniversary of restoration of independence in Georgia (five reports were represented).

March 28, 2008 – “Essays on the Russian Colonial Politics in Georgia, Book I” (co-participants: Ilia Chavchavadze Association of Bibliophiles, Institute of Politology).

14-15 December, 2007 – Scientific Outdoor Session to Khresili dedicated to the 250th anniversary of Khresili Battle (six reports were represented).

November 23, 2007 – Scientific Jubilee Session dedicated to 100th birth-day of Alexander Robakidze (three reports were represented, nine persons pronounced their recollection orations).

May 15-16, 2007 – Anniversary of 170th birth-day of St. Ilia the Righteous and 100th anniversary since his martyrdom expiration (thirteen reports were represented).
